College acceptance · ReactReplay use case

Open the letter. Record every face that loves you.

Get in. Get the moment. Forever.

College decisions are personal milestones told to a small audience: the parents who paid attention, the grandparents who asked at every dinner, the older sibling who already lived it. ReactReplay turns that small audience into a synced room — open the letter on screen and every camera captures the second of recognition.

Why this beats a text

The moment is the point.

College decision day is one of the few first-time-in-your-life moments. The selfie video is okay. The recording of mom and dad finding out together, with grandma on a phone and your sister already crying — that’s the version that ends up in the slideshow at your wedding.

How it works for a college acceptance

Three minutes from setup to live room.

Wizard → Custom reveal → headline ("ACCEPTED" / "[SCHOOL NAME]") → sky-blue palette → links for parents, siblings, grandparents. Run the room when you click "View decision" on the portal — your screen shows the headline, theirs shows it too, and the cameras roll.

  1. 1. Choose your reveal. Custom headline, accent color, scheduled or instant.
  2. 2. Generate per-recipient links. Paste names — each guest gets a personal URL.
  3. 3. Press start. The countdown plays in every browser; cameras roll; clips land in your library.
Common questions

College acceptance FAQs.

How do I record my family reacting to a college acceptance?
Set up a private ReactReplay room with the school name as the headline. Send your parents and grandparents a link. Schedule it for the moment your decision goes live. Open it together — your screen reveals the school, theirs reveals the same headline, every camera fires.
What if I get rejected — can I cancel the room?
Yes. The reveal stays a draft until you press "Start". If you don’t want to run it, you don’t. The platform never shows the headline before you trigger the room.
Can I do this for a college rejection or a "later" deferral?
You can — some families prefer to share both. But most hosts only run the reveal for the win. The headline is whatever you want it to be: "WAITLISTED" is allowed too.
Will my friends’ siblings’ reactions be private?
Yes. Each guest’s recording is private to you (the host). Guests don’t see each other’s clips. Only you can watch back, mark best, or download.
How much does it cost?
For 6 guests over 30 days, $19. For 15 guests over a year, $39. The Family plan covers most college reveals — parents, grandparents, siblings, and a couple of best friends.
