Twins announcement · ReactReplay use case

"Wait… TWINS?!" — get every face on camera.

The double-take is the whole point. Don’t miss a single one.

A twins announcement is two reveals in one — the news of a pregnancy and the punchline that there are two. ReactReplay was made for moments like this: a private synced reveal room where every guest’s reaction lands in its own video file, ready to watch back the second the countdown ends.

Why this beats a text

The moment is the point.

The double-take is the most expressive face anyone will ever make for you. If you tell people over text, you get "OMG!!" with no vibrato. If you do it over a single Zoom feed, you get one mixed file and a lot of "you’re frozen" energy. ReactReplay records every guest individually so the takes are pristine.

How it works for a twins announcement

Three minutes from setup to live room.

Pick "Twins" in the wizard, choose "TWO BOYS / TWO GIRLS / ONE OF EACH" (or write your own headline like "TWO!"), pick a color, and send the link. The countdown plays and every camera fires at once. Three minutes later, you’re scrolling through 12 separate reaction clips in your library.

  1. 1. Choose your reveal. Custom headline, accent color, scheduled or instant.
  2. 2. Generate per-recipient links. Paste names — each guest gets a personal URL.
  3. 3. Press start. The countdown plays in every browser; cameras roll; clips land in your library.
Common questions

Twins announcement FAQs.

Can I do a twins gender reveal at the same time?
Yes. ReactReplay’s reveal moment shows one big headline, so you can do it as a single beat ("TWO GIRLS!") or as two beats by setting up a follow-up reveal a few minutes later. Most hosts do it as one — the bigger the surprise, the cleaner the reactions.
How do I announce twins to family without spoiling the surprise?
Use the per-recipient invite generator under the Share tab. Each guest gets a unique link tied to their name. Until you flip the reveal to active and the countdown plays, the result is encrypted in your account — even we can’t see it.
How long is each guest’s recording?
About 12 seconds per guest, captured the moment the headline pops on screen. That’s long enough to catch the full reaction arc (shock → realization → laughter or tears) without filling your storage.
Can twins announcements use a custom result text?
Absolutely. The wizard ships with TWO BOYS / TWO GIRLS / ONE OF EACH but you can replace the headline with anything up to 40 characters — "DOUBLE TROUBLE", "ROOMMATES INCOMING", or your private joke.
Does it work if my family is on different time zones?
Yes. The countdown is server-synced and the page tells each guest exactly how long until the reveal. Late joiners after the countdown ends still get their reactions captured — recordings open as soon as the room goes live.
